I like my AFX FX-90!

After purchasing a new ZX6R, of course I needed a helmet. I searched around for hours and decided to go with the FX-90 due to other reviews I had found along with the great price. I believe I payed around $80.00 for mine on Motosport.com.

PROS
These helmets are true to size, and fit just perfect. They look nice and are also very lightweight, yet still offering a great amount of protection. There is a difference between being lightweight and flimsy, feeling as if it's going to break and being lightweight yet still strong and sturdy. This helmet falls into the second category.

Another thing I like about my FX-90 helmet is that it is comfortable when I am riding and it does not try to slide around or lift up from the wind. There is an adequate amount of ventilation provided so you don't get too hot.

This helmet is also available in many colors to give the rider a choice of what they want.

CONS
I honestly don't really have anything bad to say about this helmet. I have heard that changing the visor can be tricky, but I don't have any experience doing this yet myself. There are a number of helpful videos on youtube though for this specific helmet and how to change them out.

CONCLUSION
In the end I am very satisfied with my purchase. This helmet is a great price and well worth the value. It has all of the qualities I was looking for and hasn't dissapointed me at all. I'm sure there are better helmets that are more expensive, but if you aren't looking to spend hundreds then this helmet will get the job done. I recommend the AFX FX-90 to anyone in the market for a new helmet.
