Great Helmet

I love this helmet. I've bought 3 helmets over the last couple of years and this is the best fit by far. I have an intermediate oval shaped head and this is the first helmet that I've been able to buy in "L" instead of "XL" because of its conforming internal shape. It's also the first that hasn't had a large pressure point somewhere and left a mark after an hour of riding. I've had it on for three hours at a stretch with very little discomfort. It is a tad on the heavy side so that's the only source of some (very minor) neck fatigue.

It's not as quiet as the Shuberth C3, but I feel it's a small difference. Also in comparison to the Schuberth, the detents for the face shield hold their position much more solidly, the wind has not closed it at any speed that I've run at. Because the tab on the visor that's used to raise and lower it is about 3" off-center to the left, it doesn't supply even force to both the right and left ratcheting mechanisms and was a little d ifficult to operate until I put a little lubricant on those mechanisms. The left side still goes up quickly with the right side lagging behind a bit, but it's a lot easier to operate now.

The internal sun shield is very effective and easy to operate with a 1" slider on the left side of the helmet. Airflow seems great so far, but it's not summer yet so I'm going to withhold judgement on that. The pinlock visor has been fog-free as advertised, but the internal sun shield will fog up a bit in the cold - open up the main shield a little and it goes away quickly.

I chose the Wine (red) color because it's very visible without looking Hi-Viz. To me, it seems slightly darker in tone than what's shown here.

All in all, a really top-notch helmet. Five Stars.
